Woori The Virgin(우리는 오늘부터) is a 2022 South Korean Romantic Comedy Series which is the remake 2014 American Series Jane The Virgin. This drama is directed by Jung Jung-hwa and stars Im Soo-hyang, Sung Hoon and Shin Dong-wook in lead roles. The series runs for 14 episodes. Woori The Virgin Episode 5 has a runtime of 59 minutes.

In Woori The Virgin Episode 5, Choi Sung-il exposes himself as Woo-ri’s father in front of her family, Kang-jae and Raphael. Woo-ri thinks that this is some kind of joke and she asks her mom repeatedly if what Choi Sung-il said is true. Her mom had told Woo-ri that her father died before she was born and she lived believing that all her life. Suddenly, her father has shown up and Woo-ri cannot grasp the reality.
Choi Sung-il goes back to their home and finds out that Woo-ri has left home because she is mad at her mother. Sung-il is excited about his daughter’s life and Woo-ri’s mother thinks that Sung-il will take her daughter away from her. She tells him to not bother Woo-ri because she has accidentally got pregnant. Sung-il gets angry and visits the responsible doctor and starts fighting. A patient records him and makes it viral on the internet which taints his reputation.

Lee Ma-ri has left Raphael’s house after he has handed her divorce papers. She has given up and wants to live peacefully doing a decent job. However, her mom opposes the idea and punches her in the eye. She tells her to call the police and report domestic violence. Ma-ri presses charges against Raphael and threatens him to withdraw the divorce appeal if he wants to get out of the mess. However, Raphael declines to do so because he hasn’t done anything wrong.
Choi Sung-il takes out Woo-ri for a dinner and even gifts her an expensive laptop. Woo-ri’s mom had told her about her dad’s school life but when Woo-ri asks Sung-il about it, he says that none of it is true. Woo-ri is shocked and mad at her mom for lying even more. Sung-il brings up the topic of her pregnancy and asks her to reconsider it. At a point, Woo-ri gets angry and tells Sung-il that he knows nothing about her and that’s why he shouldn’t try to tell her if her decision is right or wrong.
Woori The Virgin Episode 5 Ending
Ma-ri purposefully meets Woo-ri and shows her the bruise on her eyes. She tries to get Woo-ri’s sympathy and Woo-ri visits Raphael to find out the truth. Raphael didn’t disclose anything earlier because it was a personal issue but when Ma-ri goes to the extreme, Raphael has no choice but to reveal their personal issues. He shows Woo-ri the picture of Ma-ri with her boyfriend and also the proof that she already had a bruise before meeting him.
When they met, Raphael and Woo-ri had a brief talk about what they missed the most because they didn’t have one parent. Woo-ri had mentioned that she wanted to have a dad when she sang in a choir competition but couldn’t see her mom and grandmother in the audience. He surprises Woo-ri and brings all of her family together, including her father to watch the video of her choir performance in her school’s hall. Woo-ri is happy but when Kang-jae sees Raphael getting comfortable with Woo-ri’s family, he gets jealous.
Woori The Virgin Episode 5 Review
Woori The Virgin Episode 5 shows domestic issues. Woo-ri finds out about her father and he finds his daughter after believing that they didn’t exist for all these years. Things don’t go smoothly between them right away. Raphael’s wife Ma-ri presses fake charges of domestic violence against him and the police refuse to help Raphael just because he is a man.
