What does Qifrey do when he learns about the attack?

While the attack was happening inside the Cave, Qifrey was outside with his students. Here, they test out the magical shoes that Coco made. Qifrey observes that these shoes are far more powerful than normal ones, which was obvious because of the special ink that Coco was using before. However, before they could go on with their light-hearted and fun day, the cap of Elaira comes flying towards Qifrey. This alerts Qifrey that something happened to Elaira because a witch rarely ever leaves their hat like that.

What was happening in the Cave then?

The kids run away from the evil Brimmed Cap witch, and he chases them throughout the Cave. They run and run, but when they could not anymore, Euini hid both Agott and Richeh in his cape. As his Cape had the magic of making anyone within it disappear, they stayed undetected for a while. However, when the penguin-like creatures started to make noise, they got caught. That is when the Brimmed Cap witch tried to capture them, but they successfully ran away.

What went through Agott’s mind when they were running?

Being the logical one, Agott knows very well that they will not be able to fight against this new witch on their own. Even Elaira could not keep up with him, and she realised that. Just then, the path they were running on ends. They come back to the road that was broken in between. However, Agott comes up with a great idea of freezing the entire road with ice. On the other hand, Richeh prepares for them to glide through the road as fast as possible. This technique, coupled with Agott’s shoes, drawn by Coco, helps the group run at an extremely fast pace.

How do they get caught?

In the next moment, Agott does something that she shouldn’t have and gets caught kind of willingly. She realises that the Brimmed Cap witch is actually after Coco and not them. Thus, she tries to tell him a lie, stating Coco is not with their atelier anymore. However, the witch obviously does not believe her and captures her.

How did she get saved?

With a joint collaboration between Richeh and Euini, Agott gets saved. However, sadly, Euini gets caught instead. This comes with grave consequences for the boy, and he gets turned into something that effectively gives him an actual reason to hide his appearance.

What was the situation for Coco and others?

Coco, Qifrey and Tetia fall into the pit, and a different kind of problem awaits them. Now it is up to Qifrey to protect his pupils.

What worked and what did not work?

This episode, hands down, was one of the best of this season. However, I must mention that it was not at all a very satisfying ending. It left us at such a juncture where we only have questions with no answers. So, we will now have to wait for the next season with bated breath.
