Ved Trailer has been finally released after much anticipation since its teaser was unveiled. Donning the director’s hat for the first time, the film marks Riteish Deshmukh’s directorial debut and is produced by none other than Genelia Deshmukh (D’Souza). It is an upcoming Marathi-language romantic drama film, which is said to be similar to the 2019 Telugu language film Majili.
Produced under the banner of Mumbai Film Company, the cast of the film includes Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia Deshmukh in the title role. Other cast members include Jiya Shankar, Ashok Saraf, Shubhankar Tawde and even a cameo by Bollywood actor Salman Khan.
The story of the film revolves around a married couple who are not exactly on the same page. While the husband is still in love with his ex-girlfriend and is not able to be there for the person he is married to. On the other hand, the wife knows all about him and patiently waits for him to accept her, wholeheartedly.

In the trailer, Riteish’s character can be seen saying that they both fell in love but not with each other and they both have madness in them, which keeps them going. Followed by a scene where an acquaintance suggests he take his wife – Genelia somewhere and asks him, whether they even have a cordial relationship after being married for so many years.
We get some glimpses of Genelia’s character, who seems to be quietly taking care of her husband. Be it by giving him money, saying it was found in his clothes and caring for every other thing. Her colleagues are bewildered at her caring nature towards her drunkard, jobless husband, even the father-in-law questions her husband, for not running his house & drinking all the time.
What others don’t know is how Genelia’s character fell in love with her husband, even before he knew of her existence. Having seen him go through his heartbreak with another girl, she is persistently making efforts to mend his heart and get him to see her feelings. Will he gain control of his present or will drink his life away in the past heartbreak is what we will find out.
