July has been an eventful month in terms of beckoning the arrival of the next possible grand Bollywood blockbuster Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani; its feverish anticipation has further been accentuated now by the premiere of Ve Kamleya song. Starring Alia Bhat and Ranveer Singh as the titular lovebirds who were previously caught breaking out their festive dance moves to the pre-release single What Jhumka six days ago. Changing the pace, the brand new track video unveils a beautiful melody of love, which also had the movie’s director Karan Johar falling for its soulful tune at first listen.
Arijit Singh is a common thread between the songs of the movie released so far, and yet again he’s stepped forth to lend his affectionately stirring vocals to this song revealed on July 18, 2023. Composed by Pritam, the upcoming movie’s songs have all been released on the Saregama Music channel on YouTube.
Although this isn’t the Hindi film’s first romantic track, its harmony vastly differs from that of the first song that was made available to the public and ultimately became responsible for pulling all of our’s attention in the quintessential Bollywood-style video of Tum Kya Mile.
Shreya Ghoshal, Shadab Faridi and Altamash Faridi also lend their heartfelt voices to the song wherein the leading pair is caught experiencing pure emotions of love. Amitabh Bhattacharya has stepped in as the lyricist for the musical narration that further pens down the struggles faced by Rocky and Rani on their path to actualising their love story.

The video works in support of the movie’s overall plot as it helps chart out the journey of each counterpart of the loving couple when they interchange spots at their respective houses to fit in with the other’s family and map out a successful course towards their future marriage. However, as all Bollywood love stories lead up to an emotional crescendo before finally letting the ones in love find their way to each other (with the fortunate agreement of each of their families), this one too, deals out heartbreak before it patches all relationships. Diving into a melodramatic montage, the heart-touching tune has listed out another strong pre-release promotion for the forthcoming movie.

Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani is a Dharma Productions film, marking the directorial comeback of Karan Johar, who’s also produced the film alongside Hiroo Yash Johar and Apoorva Mehta. The story and screenplay have been completed by Ishita Moitra, Shashank Khaitan and Sumit Roy.
Releasing in cinemas on July 28, 2023, the Dharma movie has promised to be a mega entertaining romantic comedy family drama extravaganza.
