Treason Plot/Synopsis

The Netflix description of the series reads, “An MI6 deputy’s bright future takes a sharp turn after a reunion with a Russian spy forces him to question his entire life.” Trained and groomed by MI6, Adam Lawrence’s career seems set. But when the past catches up with him in the form of Kara, a Russian spy with whom he shares a complicated past, he is forced to question everything and everyone in his life.

A triangular relationship forms between Kara, Adam and his wife, Maddy; three people who are trying to expose each other’s secrets, and navigate political and diplomatic relationships, whilst hanging onto their personal lives, and those they love most. The trailer shows that Adam had to step us as the head of MI6 after the previous head is poisoned, but many don’t believe in his leadership.

More so, he is caught in conspiracies which label him as a double agent, and he has to prove his innocence before his loved ones get harmed in the process. Is Adam really innocent or is he living a double life, that’s what we will find out.

Treason Release Date and Trailer

The series is scheduled to be released on Netflix on December 26, 2022. Check out the trailer below.
