Oasis Ending Explained
Who Attacked Helena?
The first mystery that the series brings to light is that Helena is being attacked. Helena’s attack puts both Dani and Celia on high alert, who desperately try to get to the bottom of who drugged her after attacking her. For the first couple of episodes, audiences are taken on a chase as the three youngsters find themselves following every clue possible and finding the truth.

We finally learn that in episode 7, when, after Jaén is arrested, he finally tells Helena that he had drugged her after she walked in on him dealing drugs. He wanted to keep her safe and didn’t have any option but to drug her to keep her from hurting herself. However, as everyone starts to suspect that he might have had something to do with Celia’s disappearance as well, the truth is far from simple.
Why Did Everyone Suspect Ginés?
In a sudden twist, everyone starts to suspect Subinspector Ginés as the perpetrator after he suspiciously follows Dani and Helena, trying to get an important piece of evidence from them. They rush to tell Inspector Sandra Ortega this, following which they search his car and find Celia’s bangle in the trunk. Of course, everyone immediately suspects him, and he is taken into custody as the evidence seems irrefutable, leaving everyone shocked but satisfied that the ordeal is over and Celia might be found at any moment.

Unfortunately, that doesn’t turn out to be the case, as that night, they run into another worker, Aurora, who tells them that she found another cigarette butt in the room they were being investigated in, and mentions that it was after Ginés was arrested. This signals to the two that, obviously, the killer is at large.
What Was Luis Hiding?

When the kids find out the above information, they rush to Luis and find him suspiciously packing his bags, although his daughter is yet to be found. Suspecting that there’s something amiss, they eventually uncover that it was Luis who was behind this entire thing as he was dealing drugs to renovate the resort. Celia had found out that he was behind Helena’s attack and confronted him, resulting in her getting attacked by his partner.
The situation spiralled out of his control, leading to his daughter getting kidnapped in front of his eyes.
Who Was Behind Celia’s Kidnapping?

In another surprising twist, it was Inspector Sandra Ortega who was behind Celia’s kidnapping, and she was keeping her hostage. She was also involved in the drug operation, and her greed and desperate need to keep everything under wraps forced her to make a dangerous decision. All of this would’ve been brushed under the rug as well, had Celia not called and signalled to Dani and Helena that something was wrong.
Her involvement also explains why the investigation wasn’t going anywhere, as she was uniquely positioned to influence it behind everyone’s backs. Her corruption led to an innocent woman getting traumatised, as her greed didn’t let her do the right thing.
How Is Celia Rescued?
Celia is rescued thanks to Dani and Helena, who never stop looking for her. Although Luis tries to bargain with Sandra to let his daughter go, she knocks him out cold and almost shoots Celia dead, until her friends rescue her. Sandra and everyone else are eventually arrested for their role in not just the kidnapping but also the drug operation. It’s friendship that ultimately saves Celia, as Dani and Helena never left her side and continued to push back and investigate even in the face of danger.

What Happens in the Ending?
In the end, everything goes back to normal as the truth is exposed and Dani gets a new lease on life, as he lives on with hope. Meanwhile, the other problems in the resort are also somewhat solved, as Maca and Pablo break up and she becomes friends with Sofía; Leo tells Jon that she has been having an affair with his father and tells Felipe that she lied about being pregnant; Oliver comes to an agreement with Laura’s grandmother and promises to not expose her illness to Laura if she doesn’t sell her company. Although Oliver is scamming Laura.
Is Oasis Season 2 a Possibility?

The main mystery surrounding Celia’s disappearance is solved, and the story has come to a natural end. Meanwhile, the other threads are also completed, with no loose ends. So the season gets a complete ending. However, there is a place to explore the fallout of the corruption and drug case and how that affected Oasis in the long run. Although nothing has been mentioned by Netflix as of yet, they can always extend the story further. Only the future can tell!
