Thor Love and Thunder: Chris Hemsworth Shows Asgard’s Power Couple Who Should’ve Attended the Met Gala

Now that Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is out, fans are looking forward to the next Marvel release, Thor Love and Thunder. Directed and written by Taika Waititi, with co-writer Jennifer Kaytin Robinson, this upcoming Marvel movie will serve as a direct sequel to the 2017 masterpiece Thor: Ragnarok and makes up for the 29th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. With the official teaser of the film already out, fans are pumped to see new adventures our God of Thunder is set to embark on.

Chris Hemsworth, who has been playing the titular character in the film for a long time, recently shared a picture with his co-star, for who fans have been waiting for a long time, joking about how they should have been the ones attending this year’s Met Gala. Calling the duo in the picture ‘Asgard’s Power’ couple, Hemsworth also revealed the release date for the title.

Giving us the bulked-up look at Natalie Portman’s character, who is seen holding the Mjölnir, the duo look sharp and straight past the camera, creating a glamourous and, indeed Met-worthy look of their own. But, these are not the only stars to shine in this upcoming film as we are also going to see Tessa Thompson, Christian Bale, Chris Pratt, Jaimie Alexander, Pom Klementieff, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Sean Gunn, Jeff Goldblum, and Vin Diesel share the screen with Hemsworth and Portman.
