First on this list has to be the upcoming film The Fantastic Four: First Steps, which is returning with a brand new cast, ready to take on the iconic roles. As Marvel takes in the team and prepares to slowly connect the timelines and the two parallel universes, fans are excited to see how the story is set to develop under the MCU. Joining the old and new in their own way, Marvel is surely playing with something that is going to cause a wildfire among fans of the universe very soon. The upcoming film stars Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm, and is set to release on July 25th, 2025.

Avengers: Doomsday

The biggest reveal that shook us all was when RDJ appeared on the Comicon 2024 stage as Doctor Doom. This not only had fans screaming with excitement but also had them follow the future of the Avengers more closely. Set to release in 2026, this film is set to have a huge ensemble ready to face the villain who is above all! Robert Downey Jr. is ready to shake us all once again with his upcoming performance, and we know that this film is going to be an event unlike anything ever before! The film is set to release on May 1, 2026.

After the heartbreaking ending in Spider-Man: No Way Home, we have a new film coming up to heal our hearts, and hopefully give our beloved hero some better days. Set to release next year on July 31, 2026, this film follows Peter Parker as he resumes his friendly neighborhood Spider-Man duties. But peace isn’t something easy to get, as a new adventure awaits him, which once again brings him to cross paths with his beloved MJ. Titled Spider-Man: Brand New Day, the film has new characters appearing alongside the old gang.

Ironheart

The genius MIT student who built a suit of armour capable of rivaling the one built by Tony Stark, this series is ready to follow the character who shook fans during the events of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. This series is all about Riri Williams, aka Ironheart, the character who deserves her story to be told, and we are ready for everything she has to offer. Set to release on June 24th, 2025, on Disney+, this series is something we are all looking forward to.

Marvel Zombies

Another miniseries that we need to look out for this year is Marvel Zombies, based on an episode of What If…? that we could not get out of our heads. Introduced in the alternate universe of What If…Zombies? This animated series follows a group of survivors who need to now face heroes and villains who have turned into zombies. Set to release on October 3, 2025, this is a show that you cannot miss out on!

Finally, we have yet another animated miniseries- Eyes of Wakanda, which consists of a series of adventures that show that the history of Wakanda has a deeper connection to the MCU’s sacred timeline than was expected. Following the Wakandan warrior Hatut Zaraze, as they carry out dangerous missions to retrieve vibranium artifacts from around the world, we get to witness a history not known to many.
