Thor: Love And Thunder: Set Pics Offer us a Revisit to Chris Hemsworth and Natalie Portman in The Dark World?

A direct sequel to Thor: Ragnarok and the 29th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Thor: Love and Thunder have recently faced a delay in its release date. But, that does mean more teasers for the audience to contemplate! One of them is the hint the new set-pictures from the now in-production film has dropped taking us back to the events of Thor: The Dark World. The 8th film in the MCU, The Dark World is one of the most disastrous Marvel movies of all time according to critics. However, post the events of Avengers: Endgame, the film seem to become an important addition to the franchise irrespective of the mixed reviews it got.

Moreover, it seems like Natalie Portman who plays Jane Foster is back in the equation in the upcoming Thor film. Does that mean that we are going to have to connect the dots on her return from The Dark World? Well, looks like the pictures from the set, already give us an idea.

As for the deleted scene, Marvel did release it at a point of time and was shared by several Twitteratis in response to the above speculation.

With Natalie Portman’s involvement in Thor: Love and Thunder, we can assume that the makers are going to give us a deeper take on Thor and Jane’s relationship and their subsequent fallout that was not explored in most of the Thor and MCU films after the events of The Dark World. Another question that this upcoming film will answer is why Jane has been missing from the events of several Marvel films for so long only to return in this particular instalment.

The upcoming Marvel film is currently slated for release in theatres on July 8, 2022. Meanwhile, you can watch Thor: The Dark World on Disney+ Hotstar.
