The Sound of Magic Trailer: Ji Chang-wook Casts a Spell of Happiness!

Netflix Korea dropped The Sound of Magic Teaser Trailer on YouTube today. The Korean show stars Ji Chang-wook as Rieul and Choi Sung-eun as Yoon Ah-yi. The show is directed by Kim Seong-yoon and written by Kim Min Jeong. The Kdrama series is based on the Webtoon Annarasumanara by Ha Il-kwon.

The trailer teases us with what we can expect from the magical Kdrama. It is another addition to the list of interesting Korean shows releasing on the digital platform. In The Sound of Magic Trailer, we meet a magician named Rieul. Rieul is a cheerful and charming magician who changes the life of a teenager named Yoon Ah-yi.

Ah-yi meets Rieul at an abandoned theme park. He reminds her how she used to believe in magic when she was little. The magician shows her ways how she can heal her broken heart. It is a musical drama in which magician Rieul uses his skills to make life better for Yoon Ah-yi.

The synopsis reads, “A touching drama about Yoon Ah-yi, a girl who had to grow up too fast, and Rieul, a mysterious magician who — although grown up — wants to remain as a kid.” Along with the trailer, the makers also dropped a brand new poster.

In the comments section, fans have shared their reaction to the trailer. “I so amazed with Jichangwook transformation. That man can do anything indeed. Cant wait,” commented one person. Another fan posted, “I have never watched any ji changwook’s drama BUT HE LITERALLY NAILED IT HERE. HIM AND FL LOOKS SOO MAGICAL.”

The show also stars Hwang In-youp, Lee Sang-hwa, Hong-Seo-hee, Yoo Jae-myung and Ji Hye-won. It is slated to release on May 6, 2022, on Netflix.
