The Noel Diary Trailer: Justin Hartley and Barrett Doss are on a Heart Touching Journey With Inscriptions of the Past

Netflix’s upcoming book-based film The Noel Diary written by Richard Paul Evans is all set to make our holiday season even better with a story that is heartfelt and beautiful. Directed by Charles Shyer, the film stars Justin Hartley, Barrett Doss, Bonnie Bedelia, Treat Williams, Essence Atkins, and James Remar, alongside other cast members.

The Noel Diary follows the story of a young novelist who meets a woman searching for her birth mother and comes across an old diary that may be the key to unlocking their past and maybe even their hearts. This beautiful journey that they take on Christmas will bring a magical miracle that will leave us with warm hearts and smiles on our faces.

The trailer of the film starts off with the novelist Jake Turner starting the day with a book signing event when the scene shifts to him getting the news of his mother’s death from the estate executive. He then makes his way to his childhood home when a woman named Rachel enters his house while trying to look for her birth mother.

She tells him that her mother was his nanny while she finds an old woman who knows something about her mother that can help in her search. She tells them that the person who can tell her about her mother is Jake’s dad with whom he hasn’t been in contact for the past 30 years.

The two soon find themselves on the way to his father’s house and the relationship between them gets better as they get to know more about each other. Until one morning when Rachel finds a diary in his stuff which belonged to her mother.

Now, she questions why her mother wrote down everything if she was going to abandon her anyway and if she may have misjudged her. She asks if she ever mattered to her mother while asking Jake if he ever wonders the same about his father. As the two continue to make their journey to the past, they face different things while having each other by their side.

But for how long? Because when Christmas ends, their lives are sure to change forever. With this, the trailer soon comes to an end and we are left waiting for this beautiful story that hopefully has a happy ending for them.

The Noel Diary is set to release on November 24, 2022, and will be available for streaming on Netflix.
