The Kidnapping Day Overview

The Kidnapping Day (유괴의 날) is a comedy thriller Kdrama directed by Park Yoo-young and based on the novel of the same Korean name “Yugwaei Nal” by writer Jung Hae-yeon. The drama stars Yoon Kye-sang, Park Sung-hoon, Yu Na, Kim Shin-rok, Kim Sang-ho, and Seo Je-hee alongside other cast members.

The drama tells the story of a helpless father who accepts the idea of kidnapping a rich kid goes wrong when he finds out that the little one’s parents are dead. The little girl has already lost her memory due to an accident prior to her kidnapping and the man claims to be her father. However, the little girl soon uncovers his web of lies while he tries to investigate what really happened.

The Kidnapping Day Plot

The synopsis of the Kdrama reads: “A father turned clumsy kidnapper and a genius child working together to uncover the truth behind a series of murders and mysteries.”

The series will stream from September 13, 2023, to October 19, 2023. Episode 8 of the ENA series will broadcast on October 11 at 9:00 PM KST and will be available for streaming at 8:00 PM IST.

The Kidnapping Day Episode 8 Prediction

Ro-hee and Myung-joon are finally able to escape, however, getting rid of Jayden is not so easy and Mo Eun is the first to be attacked. As Myung-joon’s daughter’s surgery date arrives, Sang-yoon finds a secret at Ro-hee’s house while Myung-joon prepares to end everything very soon. However, his wish to let Ro-hee live a normal life is not easy to achieve as Jayden is not ready to give up.

What will this chaos bring to the two and how will things finally end?

The Kidnapping Day Episode 7 Recap

Episode 7 brings Ro-hee’s plan to escape Jayden and she begins playing the kidnapping again by making Myung-joon demand ransom, thus, putting Jayden and Choin Dong-jun off to her surprise. Meanwhile, Hye-eun arrives at the police station and reveals what happened to her as a child, Choi Dong-eok’s experiment and Park Cheon-wol’s guilt that may have pushed him into committing this crime.

She then clears out that she has no involvement with this case, but believes that Myung-joon can never harm a child. However, Jayden finds out about this and rushes to Myung-joon to find out if she was involved in the kidnapping and whether he knew about her past. Seeing Myung-joon being beaten up brutally, Ro-hee confirms Hye-eun’s involvement but is not aware of her past.

Later, a call arrives to Taek-kyun in the presence of Jayden and Dong-jun as a female voice tells them about how to send her the money in return for keeping her mouth shut about Ro-hee being alive. Jayden is unable to trick her and has no choice but to accept the deal. Meanwhile, Ro-hee and Myung-joon begin their action as Myung-joon takes down the few guards left behind and escapes.

Elsewhere, Jayden stops Mo Eun and Taek-kyun while Sang-yoon captures Ho-young and his men.
