The Kardashians Season 3 Episode 2 Recap and Review
The first episode of The Kardashians Season 3 had some major things to unpack. We got to know that Khloe has melanoma, Kim is pairing up with Dolce and Gabbana right after Kourtney’s wedding, and Kanye’s comments in the mainstream media have really disturbed Kim. Towards the end of the episode, Kim almost ends up in tears due to the tragedy that her kids are facing amidst all this.
The Kardashians Season 3 Episode 2 takes us right back to where the first episode ended with Kim and Kris in conversation about what Kanye is doing and how Kim is dealing with it all. On the producer’s camera, Kim continues to say that she will keep quiet about the tragedy of being married to West to protect the family as she stops her tears. We still, of course, cannot understand why because if anything it is her and her family’s show and if any place, it is here where she can talk about what she has gone through and is going through.
The next segment shows Kim in action as she elaborates on the Dolce and Gabbana deal. The Milan fashion show is already done, so the format isn’t what interests us here but, the way Kim goes about the entire deal being the creative director of the show. But, the show is just getting started because, we think we have a favourite trio this season- Kim, Khloe and Scott.

Like the first episode of The Kardashians Season 3, the three get back together again in this episode. The tea talk is about ‘us’- the audience and the critics this time as Kim reads articles about how season two was perceived and clarify things to us. Khloe chimes in to explain her POV too.
Kourtney arrives by halftime on our screens as she prepares to shoot for the Wallstreet Journal. She also talks about launching her vitamin brand- Lemme, which is a new vitamin and supplement line by the oldest Kardashian to make us feel good in our everyday life. Flashbacks become a part of this segment as we get to see how Kourtney worked on her brand.
Khloe gets her own segment too, like always and, Malika Haqq, her BFF visits her this time. Here Khloe has her left cheek almost fully bandaged and, we get to know that she has undergone surgery to remove the melanoma-causing tumour. The two sit down to talk about all that is happening and has happened in their lives.

Next, we move to Milan with Kylie! It is not a fashion show but, a makeup check as Kylie thinks it is important to see how her makeup is being made. She visits the lab where her makeup is constructed and participates as much as she can in the process. And, yes, this is exactly the place where Kylie’s no-scrubs picture in a lab originated which faced a lot of backlash. We see her next in London where more of her makeup business is taken care of. Kris and Scott are seen together next after the latter suffers from a non-threatening car accident.
At the end of the episode, we get some fun moments between Kris Jenner and Khloe Kardashian and, Kim Kardashian taking on her creative directing role as seriously as ever.
The Kardashians Season 3 Episode 2: Final Thoughts
Overall, The Kardashians Season 3 Episode 2 was a weird one, mostly because of the amount of relatability set forward by these socialite women. From a relationship breakup to how single motherhood might feel, there was a lot that one can lean on in this episode making it more solid in the base of serious drama than fun drama.
