The Husband Episode 11 Review
Chi-ung Is Finally Exposed
Chi-ung takes centre stage in episode 11 after going unnoticed in all 10 previous episodes. Dong-chan’s confession reveals that Chi-ung is the one who proposed the foetal stem cells for the research, and he is the sole mastermind behind the illegal clinical trial.
Additionally, Chi-ung is the one who ordered Man-hee and Gyeongae to kill Tae-ju, as he manipulated the couple, saying that their treatment was denied by Tae-ju. Chi-ung also used Dr. Ha as a pawn by using his financial issues as a key. We also see how Myung-hee was manipulated. Apparently, she believed that she was simply helping out Gyeongae before things became too late, and she learns she’s in a huge scam plot and can’t step out.

Man-hee Becomes More Complicated
Man-hee becomes one of the most dangerous characters due to manipulation and his psychotic nature. Even though Chi-ung is the one who made him kidnap and exploit Se-yun, we can’t deny that he has already murdered people with Gyeongae.
We learn that Chi-ung has constantly triggered Man-hee to finish off Tae-ju by mentioning Gyeongae’s treatment. However, Chi-ung simply wanted Tae-ju dead due to jealousy and the fear of him revealing the research to the outer world. So why does Man-hee try to kill Chi-ung? Well, it is all for Gyeongae’s safety.

Tae-ju Finally Takes Control
After Tae-ju endures so many struggles, he finally turns on his revenge mode. He psychologically plays Chi-ung’s game to defeat it. Instead of fighting with Chi-ung, Tae-ju is shown in a way where he does mental calculations to figure out that Chi-ung is the culprit, and this allows him to find the solution too.
And you know what he does? He kidnaps Gyeongae. Well, he doesn’t wish to torture Gyeongae to avenge Se-yun but only wants her to learn her lesson. Moreover, he offers Man-hee an escape route: surrender himself and Chi-ung, and Tae-ju will perform Gyeongae’s surgery.
Se-yun Confronts Her Father

Se-yun finally confronts the big man. She now knows her dad has been too greedy and prioritised only VIP clients, which ultimately cost her own daughter’s life at one point.
She demands accountability, showing how his consequences have affected everyone around him. She’s gone through way too much that anyone could expect. She’s lost her daughter, lost the spark in her marriage life, was kidnapped and tortured, all because of her father focusing on treating rich clients.
A Tense Ending

A brutal cliffhanger leaves us all yearning for the last episode. Tae-ju thinks that Man-hee is ready to surrender only to realise that Chi-ung has manipulated Man-hee again, and they both are now planning to attack Tae-ju together. They succeed in it and leave Tae-ju unconscious.
Now, Tae-ju is in danger and so is Se-yun. There are chances of Man-hee misunderstanding again and trying to reach for Se-yun to trigger Tae-ju again. Oh, Tae-ju is in grave danger as well because the prey has finally been captured.
Final Words
Honestly, this episode felt really neat and gave us all the answers we deserve. From a kidnap story to a medical conspiracy, the series was already keeping us hooked. Now showing how a nice doctor was the reason behind all the crimes made it all sound more solid and powerful.

The episode also gives Tae-ju greater power while deepening the tragedy surrounding Se-yun and her family. With Tae-ju now captured by the very man responsible for everything, the drama enters its final stretch, and we’re so ready to find out how it’s all going to end.
