-The First Responders Season 2 Episode 10 Recap Contains Spoilers-

The episode started with Se-jin conducting an autopsy on Ma Tae-hwa’s father. However, because the body was buried a long time ago, most of the organs had decayed. Nevertheless, he finds something peculiar inside the stomach. White-like crystals are found in the body, which are suggested to be sent to check if it is a toxic component. But Se-jin takes a crystal in his mouth and tastes it, concluding that it is salt.

However, Cheol-joong suggests that Ma Joong-do was murdered, and he did not die a natural death. Ho-gae also believes in him and conducts his own investigation. He goes to Joong-do’s house and retraces everything he did the day he died. Surprisingly, he finds out that the salt inside the saltshaker tastes a little off. When he sends it to NFS, they conclude that there are two components in the element and one of them is potassium. The report suggests that Joong-do was intentionally given the salt in an attempt to murder him.

On the other hand, Doha tries to find out the body bomb’s manufacturer and seeks Woo Samsoon’s help to find out the culprit. They both trace the IP address, which leads to a possible location. Youngsoo also puts together a search team to locate Ma Tae-hwa’s location. He finally gets a lead and goes over to check out the CCTV footage and notes out the car number that the culprit had.

Meanwhile, Ho-gae meets Song Seol at the building and asks her why she is not taking the elevator. She says that after the bomb incident, she is afraid to ride it, but she decides to fight her fear and raise it anyway. Ho-gae holds her hand when she seems hesitant, and they both rise up the elevator. Just then, Ho-gae receives a piece of important information and goes to check it out.

Both Pil and Ho-gae finally get to a location where Ma Tae-hwa might be held, and they find an ambulance. Pil hears and screams in the woods, so he separates and goes to find out the source. Tae-hwa reveals that he is not the culprit, and Dex is the one who made him do it. Just then, Youngsoo appears with stab wounds and reveals that Sunyeol is the one who hurt him, and he takes his last breath in the ambulance.

Ho-gae loses his cool and tries to strangle Tae-hwa, but just then, Se-jin appears. Ho-gae figures that Se-jin is Dex and also the one who planned everything. Pil tries to go and save Ho-gae, but the caravan explodes. The firefighters and medic appear soon at the scene and find a dead body inside the van.

  1. Yeah i believe he’s alive! Probably being abducted by Dex, tortured or drugged? No way my boy gonna die that easy. if dex is alive then hogae’s too! I don’t think Dex gonna kill him that easy after all anw

    • I think so too, cause Dex was shown injecting an IV on someone, I believe it’s Hogae. Atleast they’re chances that he’s still alive. I just hate Dex so much.
When he was introduced as the new surgeon, I just had this bad feeling in my gut that he was Dex, turns out I was right. But I do hope Jindo dog survives, infact, he will survive, he has to.

  2. I was literally crying while watching this scene.
I know in my heart that Hogae is still alive, he’s the Jindo Dog afterall, he just can’t die, if not I’m done with the movie
