The Fabulous: 2 Bonus Clips Reveal Choi Min-ho and Chae Soo-bin’s Warm Chemistry

The Swoon gets the delicate condition of our hearts swooning over Choi Min-ho and Chae Soo-bin in The Fabulous, and has blessed us with a year-end present in the form of two unreleased clips that capture the characters in an even cozier and domestic setting. The romantic-comedy drama series premiered on Netflix on December 23, 2022, with 8 episodes also starring Park Hee-jung and Lee Sang-woon alongside the leading pair, thus completing their BFF square.

While the series began with Ji Woo-min (Min-ho) and Pyo Ji-eun (Soo-bin) as exes trying to make their friendship work for the sake of their other two friends, they clearly failed the task. Woo-min emerged as the typical jealous ex in the storyline, with most of his character arc having been erased for reasons unknown. Looking at the newly released bonus clips makes our hearts ache because they give us an in-depth look at Min-ho’s character, as opposed to what we witnessed after the Kdrama’s premiere.

Woo-min and Ji-eun go grocery shopping in the new bonus clip.

The first clip that was released earlier today gives us a sneak peek into his relationship with his four sisters, a few more characters who otherwise never saw the light of the day in the show. Min-ho grinds coffee beans for them all while they taunt him in the background. Well aware of his multi-faceted personality and good looks, they lightheartedly take a jab at his singlehood. The ladies create a ruckus for him while he struggles with the coffee. The next topic they bring up is even more disturbing as they mention Ji-eun’s name while teasing him to get a girlfriend.

His memory collage book, charting all his days spent with Ji-eun, catches the eye of one of his sisters, who then shows it to the others and makes the matter worse for her brother, further pushing his buttons by joking about him asking Ji-eun out again.

The second clip is all about the couple in question after patch things up in the second half of the season. Only this time, they’re roaming about at the grocery store, a common spot for couples to share some cozy and domestic moments together. Looks like Woo-min had a list go things to enjoy with Ji-eun, but never said a word before. The second agenda of his list to watch Netflix while sipping wine with his girlfriend.

New bonus clip brings in some new faces.

However, that plan is cut short as Joseph and Seon-ho plan on coming to their place before their camping trip, which as seen in the show they latter two skipped on to give the budding couple their time alone. Woo-min starts whining about not getting enough time to spend with Ji-eun and she has to race him down the corridor.

These moments are exceedingly adorable and would’ve definitely provided Min-ho’s role with more gravitas instead of his portrayal as a stereotypical guy out to get his girlfriend. Nevertheless, these cute moments helps us get a glimpse at a more complex backstory for Woo-min, which makes him all the more loveable.
