Japanese singer Sana, a member of the popular K-pop girl group Twice, is celebrating her 26th birthday today. Born and brought up in Osaka, she is one of three Japanese members of the girl group. In just a few years, she has successfully gathered a strong fanbase who are sending their love and support to the artist on the occasion.
Starting her career at a very young age, the singer originally planned to stay in her home country, but due to JYP Entertainment’s persistent convincing, she joined the company as a trainee in 2012. She also participated in the survival show Sixteen, where the lead objective was to determine the members of Twice out of 16 contestants. Eventually, she was selected as one of the nine members and officially debuted in the girl group in October 2015 with the song Like Ooh-Ahh, the lead single from the debut album The Story Begins.
She gained massive admiration in South Korea for her mesmerising visuals and amazing talent. The people also liked her for her bright and exuberant personality. Due to her popularity, the strained relationship between Japan and Korea improved, and she has been duly credited for it.
The members of Twice also wished her a birthday with elaborate messages on Social Media platforms. It can be seen that she is loved and adored by all of them as she is one of the youngest members of the group. Sana also released a cover of Mood Indigo by CHEEZE on the official channel JYP youtube channel.
Recently she also participated in the latest album called Between 1&2 along with her group, and the lead single, Talk That Talk, became a massive success. It is expected that the member will soon debut as a solo artist. Previously she has covered several songs, the most popular among them is the cover of the Japanese song Sotsugyou in February 2021.
