The Bad Batch Season 2 Episode 4 Recap Contains Spoilers
The Bad Batch Season 2 Episode 4 begins with Wrecker and Omega playing a game. Cid tells them to stop wasting time and get ready for another mission. They’re waiting for Hunter and Echo to return from one of Cid’s missions. Cid immediately tells Tech, Wrecker and Omega that she needs them for her new mission. They all leave with Cid, without Hunter and Echo.
Cid takes them to Safa Toma, where they first watch Riot Racing. She tells them about her new racer, TAY-0, who also wins the racing competition. Tech is shocked to see that Cid’s rider is a droid which angers TAY-0. He starts getting ready for his next race. As he prepares his new ride, Millegi comes to meet Cid. She is not pleased to see him. Millegi’s Jet Venim is against Tay-0 for the race.
Millegi and Cid bet on a side wager to see who would win. Tech realises that this race is personal to them. The race begins, and it’s a tough competition between the two. When Venim and Tay enter the tunnel, Millegi sets a trap to defeat him in the wrong ways. This leads to Tay-0’s death and Jet Venim winning the race.
Millegi threatens Cid as she has not returned her dues. Omega tries to make a deal with him for another race. If Millegi wins, they will pay her to double the amount Cid owes him. But if they win, Cid will return with them. Millegi accepts the deal of another race for the next day. He takes Cid with him as collateral damage.

Tech pieces TAY-0 and fixes him. They all discuss the race and defeating Millegi. Tech analyses the race track and the racers. TAY-0 makes fun of him. Sadly, he gets crushed by a racer and dies again. Cid has no one to race against Millegi and tells them she has lost. Tech tells them that he will be the racer for Cid.
It’s race day, and Tech is one of the racers. There are no cheers for him like the other racers, as no one knows anything about him. The race begins, and Tech does a good job. Omega tells him not to take the left tunnel as Cid said it’s a death trap. He returns to the main field and drops the weapon off his vehicle as they slow him down, leaving Cid, Omega and Wrecker concerned for him.
Tech is again back at the tunnel and takes a left, ignoring the warnings given by his friends. It’s a dark and twisted tunnel, but Tech comes out safely. Jet Venim attempts to attack Tech’s vehicle but doesn’t really succeed. Tech speeds up to his best limit and wins the race. Millegi is not happy with the race result. The crowd starts cheering for Tech.

Millegi frees Cid off all the debt she owes him. Cid is impressed with Tech and tells him she owes the Bad Batch for saving her. When Cid leaves, Millegi asks the trio why they are loyal to Cid. He tells them to watch their backs.
