The Bad Batch Season 2 Episode 11 Recap Contains Spoilers
In The Bad Batch Season 2 Episode 11, a clone gets attacked by some creature. We are not shown what the creature looks like. In the next scene, Dr Hemlock meets Nala Se, who is held captive inside a cell by the Empire. He asks Nala Se why she prefers to be in the cell instead of using her skills. Nala tells Hemlock that after what the Empire did to Kamino, she has no motivation to work. He tells Nala that her research will remain intact and will now serve the Emperor’s purpose. She refuses to help Hemlock to fulfil Palpatine’s purpose.
Emerie, one of the Empire’s soldiers, informs Dr Hemlock that they lost connection with transport 904. He asks for the recovery team to contain the asset. The doctor asks her if any other Kaminoans had taken off-world before the destruction of Tipoca City. Emerie tells him about the former Prime Minister of Kamino, Lama Su, who is in Imperial custody on Coruscant. Hemlock asks her to bring Lama Su as he wants to talk to him personally.
Hunter, Tech, Omega and Wrecker are still on the ship and connect with Cid, who wants them to do another mission. She tells them about the downed ship, and if they succeed in taking the cargo, they will get 50% of the share. Tech tells Hunter they can’t cut ties with Cid because she knows too much about them. They have to take a diplomatic approach.

Hunter, Tech, Wrecker and Omega follow Cid’s intel, which takes them to a village. They find the abandoned ship and go inside. Tech sees the claw marks on the ship and says that something unfortunate happened with people inside. While Tech inspects the machine to reserve power, Hunter, Wrecker and Omega check out the ship to find more. They enter the ship’s lab, where Omega recognises the Kaminoan medical equipment.
Tech finds a droid that keeps saying ‘danger, danger, danger’ before shutting off. Hunter, Wrecker and Omega come across the creature that caused havoc on the ship. Hunter uses the high-volt electro-staff he found earlier to attack the creature. But it doesn’t help. They all realise that it’s a research vessel and the research went wrong, which leads to the creature getting loose. Everyone runs fast to get out of the ship, back to Marauder and leave.

Hunter informs Tech that the creature is heading towards him. The creature grows in size by consuming more power. The ship blasts and the creature runs into the forest to the village. Tech and Omega go back into the research ship and access files to help them understand the creature they’re dealing with. Hunter and Wrecker do everything they can to stop the creature.

Omega tells Tech that she is unaware of the new Kaminoan cloning, as Nala Se used to keep the data away from her. Tech finds out that the creature’s cells were modified with armour plating. Hence, it wasn’t harmed by their blaster. Tech informs Hunter that he should keep the creature from getting closer to the energy power as it will grow bigger. However, it’s too late as the creature finds an energy source and grows bigger.
The creature enters the village and scares off the villagers. The Imperials arrive there, and Tech and Omega find their way out of the research ship. Hunter and Wrecker do everything possible to stop the creature from harming the villagers. Suddenly, one of the Empire’s ship control the creature and take it with them. Hunter, Wrecker, Tech and Omega return to their ship and leave.
The creature is held captive in a cell. The soldiers also capture the villagers. Tech finds out that the instructions to clone the Zillo Beast came from the Supreme Chancellor before he became Emperor. The creature’s genetic material has the potential to be weaponised. Tech tells Hunter that there is a lot more happening than they realise. He believes the Empire didn’t destroy cities on Kamino to end cloning. They wanted to control it.
Hunter tells Tech to send the data to Echo and Rex. Emeria informs Dr Hemlock that the creature has been secured. One of the Imperial troopers informed the doctor that one vessel, which looked like a military-classed shuttle, escaped while taking the villagers. The doctor tells them to find out who it is.

Dr Hemlock meets the former Prime Minister of Kamino and informs him that Nala Se is not cooperating with him for the research. The Prime Minister tells Hemlock that if he fails to convince Nala Se, he will soon be in a cell like him. The Prime Minister tells the doctor he will help him persuade Nala Se if he sets him free. He tells Hemlock about Omega and how she is the key to controlling Nala Se.
