Ted Lasso Season 3 Trailer: Jason Sudeikis’ ‘Believe’ Anthem Pulls Through for Richmond Even When Things Fall Apart

It’s time to believe in the best of things again as Jason Sudeikis’ Ted Lasso Season 3 is going to make sure you do! The much-awaited sports drama comedy series is coming back to turn it around for AFC Richmond yet again and we couldn’t be more pumped. After a strong, successful run of two seasons that first began in 2020 on Apple TV+, the two-time Emmy winning comedy series is headed our way to make us cry tears of joy, and leave us with countless lessons about life.

Ted Lasso Season 3

Starring one of the most endearing cast members including the likes of Hannah Waddhingham as Rebecca, Nick Mohammed as Nathan Shelley or Nate, Brett Goldstein as Roy, Juno Temple as Keeley, Brendan Hunt as Coach Beard, Phil Dunster as Jamie Tartt, Jeremy Swift as Higgins, Toheeb Jimoh as Sam, and others, the series was developed by Sudeikis, Hunt, Bill Lawrence and Joe Kelly.

Although the major issues of conflict were resolved during the last season, it also gave way to new problems between many other characters. Season 3 is not only going to address all of these things, but will also put Richmond’s trajectory into focus as media subjects them to a series of negative criticisms. While the football club may have risen in ranks against all odds, there are still a lot of speculations in the air that don’t necessarily speak in favour of the club. Nate, the “wonder kid” has also parted ways with the team and gone off to join the arch nemesis, Rupert, at West Ham United.

One thing that is definitely clear after all this time is that though Lasso’s philosophy was ridiculed early on, Richmond would’ve never been able to get rid of the distance between its players without it. And, after the double season run, they too have come to understand this better than others. While respect for Lasso has been ignited in the hearts of the fans of the club as well, one of the core members of his coaching team, Nate, has gone off the rails due to miscommunications and misunderstandings between him and Ted.

It doesn’t matter if he was one of the proud supporters of Ted’s ideologies and club, now he’s but a rival out to defeat him in the process of proving himself. We may not know how this turn of events will shape into for their friendship, or the club, but Roy’s entry alongside Ted and Coach Beard is already ringing in an alarm for the best. Get ready to root for Richmond this season, as the team falls in love with itself, truly, madly and deeply.
