Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938 Overview
Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938 (구미호뎐 1938) is a sequel to the much-loved fantasy Kdrama of the same named and is directed by Kang Shin-hyo and Jo Nam-hyung. The Kdrama stars Lee Dong-wook, Kim So-yeon, Kim Bum, Ryu Kyung-soo, Kim Young-ji, and Hwang Hee alongside other cast members.
The sequel brings the gumiho Lee Yeon away from his happy ending and back to the year 1938 where he once again comes face to face with his brother Lee Rang and Ryu Hong-joo. Now, he has to find a way to return to the present and to his loved one, but this isn’t something that will come to him easily.
Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938 takes over tvN’s Saturday-Sunday 9:20 PM KST timeslot previously occupied by Pandora Beneath the Paradise.

The synopsis of the show reads: “Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938 tells the story where Lee Yeon was dragged back in time to the year 1938 unexpectedly due to certain events that happened after the end of season 1, where he met Lee Rang and Ryu Hong-joo of that era.”

Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938 Episode 6 Prediction
The godly trio returns and relives the days of the past, but good times end soon as Hong-joo falls into trouble. An evil spirit arrives around Yeon while he wonders if Moo-young’s return has another reason. As the two get together to look for Hong-joo, they are taken far away from Taluipa’s eyes. But soon, Yeon faces the stab of a friend while he wishes to go back home.

The Japanese continue looking for Mi-ho and find a way to get their hands on her without facing Yeon, making use of Hong-joo. She is threatened to get Mi-ho, but it is not something she would do without making another plan. Rang is made to disguise himself as Mi-ho and taken to the Japanese while Yeon looks for the gisaeng who has been captured.
Yeon infiltrates their building and saves the gisaeng after which he gives Hong-joo a signal. Rang comes out of his disguise and begins fighting the soldiers alongside Hong-joo. Elsewhere, Yeon comes across Ryuhei Kato and is shaken up by the strength of the demon who preys on humans.
Later, Mi-ho is revealed to be the god of fortune and returns to the man who takes care of her. Meanwhile, Moo-young looks for a cure for himself, enough to last until he completes his mission. He meets one of the kings of hell and gets the help he needed. Elsewhere, Rang meets Yeo-hee at the place she sings and is followed by Yeon and Shin-joo.
The two soon get away from the men after which Shin-joo too leaves to meet someone. Left alone, Yeon takes out the stone and ruler and waits for the masked man. But the person he sees outside is Moo-young, and he questions him if he is the masked man.
