Surviving as a Celebrity Manager Teaser: Will the Korean Remake Hold Up to the French Hit Show?

Surviving as a Celebrity Manager is the newest adaptation of the hit french show Call My Agent. The cast of the show includes Lee Seo Jin as Ma Tae Oh, Kwak Sung Young as Cheon Jae In, Seo Hyun Woo as Kim Joong Don as and Joo Hyun Young as So Hyun Joo.

The teaser doesn’t give much away as the audience only sees a quick introduction to the cast. We see the lives of the four characters as they are trying to get their client’s deals finalized while also trying to live their own life. The agency in the Korean drama is named Method Entertainment. We see how the four agents work together to make sure that they get the clients the right deals while also keeping the competition at bay.

At first glance, there isn’t a lot of similarity between the original show and the remake. The cast, the setting as well as the storyline seem to be created to cater to the Korean audience. A lot is riding on this remake as the previous attempt made by India titled Call My Agent: Bollywood was quite a disappointment.
