Strong Girl Nam-soon Episode 8 Preview: The famous hit South Korean drama Strong Woman Do Bong-soon (힘쎈여자 도봉순) spin-off series Strong Girl Nam-soon (힘쎈여자 강남순) of the is directed by Kim Jung-Sik and written by Baek Mi-Kyeong. Starring Lee Yoo-mi, Kim Jung-eun, Kim Hae-sook, Ong Seong-wu and Byeon Woo-seok in the lead roles, the series will follow a young girl named Nam-soon and her immense strength being used for the good. The series is produced by JTBC and is distributed by Netflix.

The series takes up the story of Bong-soon’s sixth cousin, Kang Nam-soon (Lee Yoo-mi) who has similar strength to her cousin. After getting lost in Magnolia, Nam-soon returns to South Korea to find her family. She successfully finds her mother (Kim Jung-eun) and grandmother (Kim Hae-sook) but little does she know, the trio are in for a big treat.

Lee Yoo-mi made it big after her pivotal role in Squid Game (2021). She was last seen in All of Us Are Dead (2022). Kim Jung-eun’s last ventures are Missing: The Other Side (2020-2023) and DNA Mate (since 2022). Kim Hae-sook’s latest work was Revenant (2023). Speaking of Ong Seong-wu, he was last seen in the movie Starlight Falls (2023) while Byeon Woo-seok’s latest project was Soulmate (2023).

Netflix describes the series as: “Gifted with superhuman strength, a young woman returns to Korea to find her birth family — only to be entangled in a drug case that could test her power.” After finding her mother and grandmother, Nam-soon gets into a big drug case along with her family and two young men. Will all of them resist the battle and end the war or succumb to it? With whom will Nam-soon develop a beautiful relationship?

Strong Girl Nam-soon Episode 8 Indian Release Date and Time

The South Korean TV series episodes will air from October 7, 2023, each with a runtime of 70 minutes. Episode 8 of the series will air on October 29 on Netflix at 8:30 pm.

Strong Girl Nam-soon Episode 8 Prediction

The death of the Doogo delivery staff will cause a ruckus in the police station as they’ll realise he is also a victim of the drug. Shi-o will test Nam-soon’s strength and save her just when she becomes weak after exerting too much power. He will fall head over heels and desire to make her his. He will make her work under her and she will proceed on finding various details.

Hee-sik will become worried about Nam-soon and request her to back from the case but the latter won’t as she will continue to surf on Shi-o. Meanwhile, Geum-ju will start her search on Song Bread since he has another backstory that’s quite dark. Nam-in will starve himself making Bong-go worry about his son.

Hwa-ja tries to attack Nam-soon with a knife, but Nam-soon stops her and dislocates Hwa-ja’s ankle. Hee-sik decides to arrest Hwa-ja, but due to her injury, she is taken to the hospital for treatment before facing charges. Geum-ju challenges Shi-o to a card game, stating that if she wins, she will be granted her wishes which is nothing but to deal with his company’s financing and to know his company’s secret. She wins the game and makes her request, leaving Shi-o to ponder it.

At Nam-in’s cafe, Joong-gan’s son, Geum-dong, helps uncover the deepfake scammers. Joong-gan and Jun-hee visit the apartment where they find a woman confronting the young men involved in the scam. She demands the detective quickly resolve the case and compensate Jun-hee for the 20 million won he lost.

The pill that Nam-in took makes him stop eating as he hallucinates every food he sees as a stone and such objects. Meanwhile, Hee-sik’s superior, Dong-suk, returns to the police station and struggles with his addiction to the drug. Shi-o becomes curious about Nam-soon’s activities and arranges to meet her, leading to an exchange of numbers. When Hee-sik learns about their interaction, he visits the Doogo warehouse.

Shi-o observes Nam-soon and Hee-sik playfully interacting and seems intrigued. Nam-soon spends time at a theme park with her father, reminiscing about her childhood. Shi-o receives information about Geum-ju’s daughter (which isn’t Nam-soon as Geum-ju paid the news house to put some other girl’s face to protect her child). Geum-ju invites Hee-sik to a family party where they introduce themselves to the group, and Hee-sik hints at his connection with Nam-soon.

The family celebrates Bong-go’s birthday, and everyone gets drunk. Hee-sik and Nam-soon share a moment, discussing Hee-sik’s late brother. However, the festivities become overwhelming for Hee-sik as the family keeps mentioning Nam-soon. He leaves and returns to work. The next day, Shi-o offers Nam-soon a job as one of his lobbyists to make more money, and they go to a secret location. There, Nam-soon undergoes a strength test, leaving Geum-ju and Joong-gan in pain. The episode ends with Nam-soon struggling with a heavy stone slab while Geum-ju heads to an unknown location on her bike.
