Strong Girl Nam-soon Episode 16 Review
I’m absolutely done with this series! Initially, it started off well, had a good plot and good actors. But the more it started to progress towards the end everything felt half-baked and rushed. Shi-o could have been given a chance to change since in the end it is understood he was a good man towards those he wanted to. Not going to justify all the cruel crimes he did but he could have been changed by Nam-soon or simply arrested for a new life. He could have been convinced by his biological father or his best friend Binbin. The villain definitely died in vain.

The romance between Hee-sik and Nam-soon is completely off. Literally, even their kissing scenes didn’t have chemistry and felt forced. I didn’t want to compare but Bong-soon had so much pain in her eyes when her loved ones were in danger while Nam-soon was screaming like a child. I’m super disappointed with the finale because when Shi-o was capable of so many things, making such a strong character die just like that is super dumb. Either they could have kept him alive and ended the series hinting at his return for revenge. However, they made Song Bread stand out.
It was evident that Song Bread was the main villain given the way his identity remained a mystery but Shi-o could have also had a proper ending. Very very disappointed!

Agree, Great series with the villian captivating the audience, his character and presence was keeping me interested in the series. The way he died was to sudden for a main villian. Disappointed in episode 16, his crimes were dreadful and he needed to be accountable for them , he had gone through so much and we never got to hear the whole life experience of his dreadful past only glimpses. Dissapointed in this episode. I like the series but it’s not the same with him gone. He should have been held accountable and nam soon questioning him as a police officer….
Agree with your review. There was an opportunity to develop Shi-o into a more complex character, but they just gave up and made him a simple villain at the end. Other characters are not realistic enough in general. The show is not nearly as good as the first one about Bong soon.
