Spy x Family Season 2 Episode 7 Review
The episode starts with a very intense battle between our beloved Thorn Princess and an assassin called Sickle and Chain Barnaby. Now, before this encounter, all the assassins were trying to be pretty discrete with their endeavours and did not approach Yor, directly. This is because they were afraid that others might see them doing something, and as they are on a luxury cruise, which is full of very important people, that kind of outcome should be avoided. But Barnaby is different. The fact that Yor could not even feel his bloodlust or his intention to harm her and her employers proves how much of a seasoned assassin this guy is.

Thankfully Loid is still inside the changing room, trying to think of proper outfits while this entire battle is going on just outside the shop. But Barnaby is not the only one, Yor will have to fight a lot of people later and that too without causing utter mayhem. Now this is a very difficult task to achieve, as we have seen from the previous episodes how Yor kills her targets. The crime scene becomes a bloodbath as she does not care about bloodstains, at least during her fights.
Maybe this is the reason why she became so good at cleaning, as she had to know how to wipe the crime scenes off of any residues so that they could be used against her later.

But in this situation, she does not have the time to finish her target mercilessly, as this is literally happening in a lobby in front of many people. So, how will she get out of this pinch? Thankfully, with Barnaby, all she had to do was learn some circus tricks.
But another highlight of this episode is the outfit match-up idea that Loid comes up with. You might think that you have seen your fair share of absurd things in life, but believe me when I say that this outfit choice was just absolutely beyond that ridiculousness. And don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying that it’s bad. It actually fits well on him, and maybe that’s just because he is Loid Forger, the cool spy who can rock any attire.

Verdict

Well, there has never been an episode from Spy x Family which is not entertaining. And this episode particularly is a favourite of mine for this season. Why? Simply because Yor kicks ass in this episode. And she is absolutely fabulous in doing that. But we also see some funny bits whenever Loid and Anya come forward.
They do a great job of having sort of fun in the cruise by doing a bunch of things while Yor remains alert for her mission.
