Snowdrop Actress Park Soo Ryun Passes Away in a Fatal Accident, Family Set to Donate Her Organs

Musical actress Park Soo Ryun, widely known for her role in Snowdrop, has passed away. She was 29 years old. On June 11, 2023, she was rushed to the hospital, where the doctors declared her brain dead. The mortuary has been prepared in Suwon Hospital, Gyeonggi Provincial Medical Centre’s funeral hall, and it will be held on June 12, 2023, Monday, from 4 PM KST (12:30 PM IST) and will be extended till Tuesday morning. She has been survived by her parents, who have decided to donate her organs in order to keep her legacy going.

The fatal accident took place when the artist was trying to get home and fell down the stairs. She was then taken to the hospital, where the doctors pronounced her brain dead after resuscitating her. Instead of letting her life end abruptly like this, her family decided to prolong her impact on this world by donating her organs. They have expressed how they would feel comforted that she would be living on in someone. That there will be someone alive because her heart is still beating.

Apart from her small role in Snowdrop starring Jung Hae-in and Jisoo, this artist is also known for her roles in musicals and dramas like Finding Kim Jong Wook, Passing Through Love, Siddhartha, and The Day We Loved. She was also scheduled to perform on June 12, 2023, on Jeju Island. There have been incredibly mournful messages from people online. Even though she wasn’t known too widely, she has made her mark on audiences who have been sharing her old pictures, trying to keep her spirit alive.

The actress shared an image with the male protagonist from Snowdrop, where she is seen thanking him for all the wisdom he had imparted during that time. She also mentioned that she was grateful for him taking care of the university students in the show. Being optimistic, she had also written that she hoped to meet him on another project after her appearance on a big platform like this. A week before she passed, there were many social media images sharing her experience working on a musical with a puppet and some with her cast members.
