A Hotter Season

While Season 2 remains the most memorable (thanks to Dex), Single’s Inferno, unlike Too Hot to Handle, has consistently maintained a level of provocation that is enjoyable, leaving much to our imagination. The Season 5 trailer hints continue this trend, teasing some very provocative and surprising moments that have left the panellists’ jaws on the floor. The sultrier, more daring tone, which is a patent in every trailer of the series, is a reason for excitement.

Moreover, Netflix has mentioned that Inferno and Paradise experiences will be darker and hotter than ever, with passion, flirtation and unpredictable emotional twists taking centre stage.

Romantic Arcs and Storylines

Season 5 is expected to explore much more diverse romantic arcs and unforgettable personalities, prioritising diving deeper into character dynamics and exploring pairings that will showcase richer and emotionally complex moments. The series has always explored some thought-provoking scenarios along with the sultry ones, and this season is expected to make it even more interesting in that respect.

Expect confrontations, bonding moments, jealous tensions and maybe even some non-traditional connections that will shake up the show that we all know and love.

An Entertaining Cast

One of the biggest parts of Single’s Inferno has been its fantastic cast. From the participants to the hosts, everyone has a hand in making it the most entertaining dating show. The hosts, especially, are enjoyable and have brilliant chemistry, making their inputs feel like a welcome addition rather than a dreaded obligation. This season will see the return of Dex, Hong Jin-kyung, Lee Da-hee, Hanhae, and Kyuhyun to the panellists’ chair.

This season, we are also expected to get a more diverse and varied cast that will offer a broader range of personalities, background and potential matches. Plus, last season, there was a noticeable lack of screen-time balance and nuanced interactions among the different cast. This season is expected to rectify that situation and focus on a wider spectrum of romantic stories instead of the more dominant ones.

Single’s Inferno Season 5 will potentially be the messiest and boldest season yet, after the viewer feedback from last season. Expect dramatic showdowns, heightened emotions and bold flirtations in every episode that will leave everyone on the edge of their seats! Plus, with the producers promising a bolder Paradise and Hell experience, we can only hope for more interesting challenges for the men and women and a more luxurious experience in Paradise to make everything worth it.

When is Single’s Inferno Season 5 releasing?

Single’s Inferno Season 5 drops on January 20, 2026, on Netflix. Although we don’t know what the release structure will be yet, it’s likely to follow the previous years’ structure, with episodes released over the course of a few weeks. However, multiple episodes will be released on premiere week, with at least 3 episodes released on 20th January.
