Silo Episode 3 Recap

In Episode 3, Mayor Ruth walks down all the stairs to meet Juliette in person & then makes a decision regarding her candidacy for the next sheriff. What she encountered down below, how Juliette took charge of the generator without even caring for her own life was enough for her to understand why, Becker chose her. Also, she visits her friend Martha in the Mechanical as well, who is good friends with Juliette.

While Nichols refuses to take the position at first because evidently the generator is not in good shape & she is the only one who can fix it if anything happens. But when she gets the badge and sees ‘Truth’ written behind it, she changes her mind & makes a deal with the Mayor instead. She tells her that she will take the job if they allow her to stop the generator for some hours & fix whatever’s causing the problem.

It was a high-risk job with no surety of getting a good result, yet the whole mechanical team do their best to make it happen, right on time. But what they didn’t expect is that by choosing Juliette, the Mayor might find herself becoming the target of the people, who are against it, as revealed in the end, she seems to be dying mysteriously.
