She-Hulk Attorney At Law Episode 1 Mid Credit Scene Explained: Captain America Did What?

She-Hulk Attorney At Law, the action-adventure comedy series by Marvel Studios, has been released on Disney+. After much anticipation, the viewers are liking the pilot episode and are looking forward to the series. It is directed by Kat Coiro and Anu Valia and the screenplay is adapted by Jessica Gao.

The episode titled ‘A Normal Amount of Rage‘ has a runtime of about 35 minutes and the synopsis reads, “Jen Walters’s world is turned upside down after a freak accident leaves her with superpowers.” The episode majorly focused on Jen Walters’s transformation, however, there were mentions of other characters like Iron Man & Captain America from the MCU.

The scene that has got everyone in a laughing fit is actually an extension of what Jen and Bruce were discussing in the car before they encountered the spaceship. During the conversation, Jen mentions that she can’t believe that Steve Rogers aka Captain America died a virgin.

She list out all his history, according to what Bruce had told her earlier. She says that at first he was sent off to fight in World War II, at the end of which, he was frozen in ice. And after he returned, Rogers was involved in one world-threatening disaster after another. That would only conclude that he is a virgin unless Bruce knows something about it.

But before Jen could nudge her cousin to spill the tea, they encounter a Sakaaran class eight courier craft, which was probably trying to deliver a message. Instead, the car gets toppled down and leads to Jen’s Hulk transformation. Maybe the craft is carrying an important message that will be revealed in later episodes.

While we thought the conversation might have ended there, we get a surprise in the middle of the credit roll scene. We are taken back to the night when Bruce and Jen were drinking at his bar and see that she is getting fairly drunk, even when it was mentioned that due to their power their bodies metabolise alcohol faster and don’t make them drunk.

In a drunken voice, she starts sobbing and says, “This is so sad. Steve Rogers did so much for his country and he never got to experience sex.” She points out his perfect ass and further comments that a person with an ass like that did not deserve to die a virgin. Thinking that Jen is completely drunk and won’t stop talking about it.

Bruce finally reveals that, “Steve Rogers is not a virgin. He lost his virginity to a girl on the 1943 USO tour.” Well, we definitely didn’t expect this answer and neither did Jen, whose drunk act gets exposed when she elatedly replies back, as she finally got her answer. Happy with the discovery she starts saying ‘Captain America fu….’ and before she could complete the sentence, the credits roll back in.

The whole scene has blown away the internet and has become the perfect meme material for the months to come. It would be really funny if Chris Evans reacts to the new discovery, or what if he knew about this all along. The episode is getting mixed reactions from the viewers but overall it has been successful with their spot on comedy scenes.

She-Hulk Attorney at Law is streaming on Disney+ & on Disney+ Hotstar in other countries.
