Shabaash Mithu trailer starring Taapsee Pannu as former Indian cricketer, Mithali Raj is now out. The film is about Raj’s journey of being a normal girl to one of India’s best cricketers who became an inspiration to many people in the country. Written by Priya Aven, the film is directed by Srijit Mukherji.
The trailer shows a young Mithali trying her best to play and understand cricket. People around aren’t supportive, but Raj is stubborn about her ambitions. No matter what the hurdles are, she fights them to achieve her dreams. However, even after becoming a cricketer, the fight isn’t over. Actor Vijay Raaz plays Raj’s coach.
When Mithali and other girls get selected for the Indian cricket team, they have to make a place for themselves and let the world know their identity. The trailer is truly inspiring and packed with some inspiring moments. One of the main messages of the film is – Nazariya badlo, khel badalgaya (If you can change the way you think, you can change the game).
