Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 Releases on Netflix, Viewers Gush About Kartik Aaryan, Tabu

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is a horror comedy film released in theatres on 20 May 2022. It is directed by Anees Bazmee and a screenplay written by Aakash Kaushik with Farhad Samji. And produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar under the banner T-Series Films with Murad Khetani and Anjum Khetani under the banner Cine1 Studios. It is a standalone sequel to Bhool Bhulaiyaa released in 2007, starring Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan.

The film’s star cast includes Tabu, Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani and reprising his role from the previous movie, Rajpal Yadav as Chhote Pandit, Amar Upadhyay, Sanjay Mishra and others. The film has been receiving praise from critics, especially in regards to the acting of its cast. Following the success of the film, it is now released on Netflix for the audience to watch globally.

The official synopsis of the film reads – When strangers Reet and Ruhan cross paths, their journey leads to an abandoned mansion and a dreaded spirit who has been trapped for 18 years. It follows the story of Ruhaan Randhawa, a fraud psychic who is brought in to deal with the return of Manjulika, a malevolent spirit hell-bent on revenge against the Thakur family.

Although the film has been a success at the box office, the audience has given mixed reviews of the film. The majority of the audience is excited to see what new will the sequel to the previous blockbuster, will bring this time. However, many were disappointed by the lack of horror like in the last film but were in awe of the actors’ acting. Reactions have been pouring in on Twitter and people who were not able to catch it in theatres can now watch it on the OTT platform.
