Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness was MCU’s first release of 2022 in theatres. Directed by Sam Raimi, the film stars Benedict Cumberbatch as Stephen/Doctor Strange, Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda/Scarlet Witch, Xochitl Gomez as America Chavez, Rachel McAdams as Christine Palmer, and Benedict Wong as Wong.
The film received mixed reviews from critics. But fans loved the story, Wanda’s arc and the introduction to the Illuminati. With Multiverse of Madness, Raimi gave us a glimpse of the multiverse, the next big phase of the MCU. The story had drama, twists, emotions and some horror.
Making a film of such a magnitude was not an easy process. The makers had to keep characters secret, beware of the leaks, and work hard to live up to the hype. The efforts did give a great result in the end. As per the reports, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness has made a collection of $942.5 million approx at the worldwide box office.
On June 22, the film will drop on Disney+ Hotstar. The studio has shared a gag reel full of bloopers and behind-the-scenes fun. In the 1-minute 6 seconds video, we see the star cast dancing a lot. Both the Benedicts, Xochitl, Elizabeth and Rachel had too much fun filming MoM. Cumberbatch couldn’t stop showing those moves even when he was in the zombie make-up.

Meanwhile, in the end-credits scene, the makers teased us with the third Doctor Strange movie. Charlize Theron enters as Clea in the frame and tells Strange that he has caused an incursion. Strange, who used the Darkhold to stop Wanda, has his third eye opened.
