Seoul Vibe Poster Reveal Shows Yoo Ah-in, Ong Seong-wu and More Smiling Brightly

Seoul Vibe, an upcoming South Korean action comedy film has its ensemble poster revealed by Netflix. The film is set to be released in the month of August only and is directed by Moon Hyun-sung. The screenplay is written by Sua Shin and the film boasts of a stellar ensemble cast including Yoo Ah-in, Go Kyung-pyo, Lee Kyu-hyung, Park Ju-hyun, Ong Seong-wu and others.

In the released poster, we can see the main cast of the film, with Yoo Ah-in in the centre, smiling brightly toward the camera. They are seen with their choice of vehicle that they would be using in the story. Like Park Ju-hyun is posing with the motorcycle, Ong Seong-wu with a skateboard and others with the car.

The official synopsis of the film reads, “In the days leading up to the 1988 Seoul Olympics, a ragtag team of drivers and mechanics go undercover to dismantle a massive money-laundering ring.” The drivers of the Sanggye-dong Supreme Team who dream the American Dream become mired in a VIP slush fund investigation when they receive an offer they can’t refuse in this full-speed chase action thriller set in 1988.

Netflix Korea has captioned the image saying, we can’t wait to see this combination (of actors) as the perfect teamplay of Bangkupam can’t be stopped. The Sanggye-dong Supreme Team, also known as ‘Bangkupam’, is a close friendship that can be expressed as a family, working as a hideout in the car repair shop ‘Large Bakkusa’ in Sanggye-dong, which was cluttered as a redevelopment area in 1988.

Each member of the team has a defined role, like the leader of the team and also the top drifter is Dong-wook (Yoo Ah-in), the S.P.Y DJ, John/Woo Sam (Ko Kyung-pyo) would be the one to bring in intel news from everywhere, Human navigation system, Bok-nam (Lee Kyoo-hyung).

Park Ju-hyun is the master of disguise on a motorcycle, as Yoon Hee and the MacGyver of Sanggye-dong is Joon-gi (Ong Seong-wu). With their distinct role, they come together and form a perfect team that can do any task assigned to them. Recently, each character poster was also revealed on Instagram, which contains different objects that the character values.
