Selena Gomez turned 30 years old on Friday, 22 July and what’s a better way to celebrate it than with your dear and close friends. That’s what the actor-singer did as she took out her best friend Taylor Swift for her birthday dinner. The two have been friends for more than 14 years and brought their best game when it came to their fashion choices for the evening.
Selena Gomez donned a white minidress with some ruffles, while Taylor Swift seems to be coming back to her country roots in a brown-patterned dress with a v-shaped neckline. They also gave a glimpse at her birthday dinner with some pictures of the two together at their table. She uploaded the post on Instagram and captioned it, ’30, nerdy and worthy’.
In the picture, Taylor is holding 3 of her fingers up with the other hand folded to form a circle to signify ’30’. She also carries a shocked expression, just like all of us who can’t believe that Gomez is at that milestone already. In our mind, she is still living as the sassy Alex Russo from Wizards of the Waverly Place Disney show.

Meanwhile, the second picture is definitely screaming like meme material, as Swift gives a thumbs up to the camera with a slightly creepy smile and Selena laughs at her goofiness. There is another picture of the two, which is a selfie clicked by Gomez as Swift holds up her 30 sign with her hands. The pictures are shared by fansites, which might have been shared by the singer but now deleted.
And in other celebrations, her role in the latest show, Only Murders in the Building had been nominated for the SAG Awards. The series follows three strangers played by Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez, who share an obsession with a true crime podcast. After a suspicious death in their affluent Upper West Side apartment building, the Arconia, the three neighbours decide to start their own podcast about their investigation of the death, which the police ruled a suicide.
While the second season of the series premiered on 28 June 2022. But quite recently on 11 July 2022, the series Only Murders in the Building was renewed for a third season.
