Having come out in theatres a few hours ago, the fans of the slasher movie franchise were eager to post their respective Scream 6 Twitter reviews on social media, and so they have. Tweets about how the sixth addition may possibly be the best addition to the entire series are all the rage right now.
The latest instalment has been directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, and written by James Vanderbilt, Guy Busick and Kevin Williamson. It sees the old stars of the previous movies reprising their roles in the lead – Melissa Barrera, Jenna Ortega, Courteney Cox, Hayden Panettiere, Mason Gooding, Jasmin Savoy Brown and others. Initially the fans were divided in their opinions about Barrera’s Sam Carpenter leading the blood show, but the first few shows of the film have them showering her with grand applauses, and feeling as if her character has joined hands with an upgrade.
Some claim the new chapter to be an improvement, while others disapprove this idea by stating it to be on the shabby side, but those types of receptions are on the low this time around. The sixth film shifts its location from the old town of Woodsboro to New York City, where the ravages of Ghostface are still aplenty as opposed to the beliefs of the survivors of this blood streak of killings.
Cox and Panettiere’s Gale and Kirby respectively are being viewed as the ‘legacy characters’ of the series, who’ve finally been justified with this outing. The newest counterpart of the franchise is being deemed as a ‘standout’ among the rest of the films, and the first few moments already had the fans shaking with excitement, while simultaneously leaving them speechless. Many viewers headed in for the movie with low to no expectations at all due to the long-running and endless stretch of the series.

Yet, the film came as a pleasant surprise that left the audiences aghast with unprecedented horrific twists and turns awaiting them at regular intervals of the runtime. We suggest you steer clear of the spoilers floating on the web to enjoy the film experience to the fullest. Here are some Twitter reactions of the fans who’ve already watched the film and can’t stop raving about it. Don’t take our word for it, just scroll down to see how your fellow members of the Ghostface fandom have had a blast at the theatres.
