Wednesday Season 2 Teaser Trailer: Return to Nevermore Academy Like Never Before!

Wednesday Season 2 teaser trailer is out, and let’s just say, our favourite Addams is back with another crazy adventure in front of her. The teaser released brings back Wednesday’s iconic charm on screen, but this time it is mixed with a little bit of colour from Enid. As she sets out to discover more family secrets hidden in the dark, another school year awaits, filled with more chaos, fights, and an adventure that is fit for this psychic Addams.

Wednesday is an American supernatural mystery comedy show set around the character Wednesday Addams (Jenna Ortega), created by Charles Addams. The series follows Wednesday, who moves to Nevermore Academy, her parents’ alma mater, after her expulsion from a normal school. A place for monstrous outcasts, she slowly finds her way through this place despite her cold personality, and solves a local crime case.

The upcoming season shows her return to the Academy after the chaos of last season, and this adventure begins with a bizarre yet comic scene of Wednesday going through an airport security check. Surely, this season is set to take the story to another level as Addams rushes into the mayhem surrounding the Academy. But before we dive into the finer details of the teaser trailer, a quick update on Season 1 is right here!

Wednesday Season 1 follows our beloved Addams as she moves into Nevermore Academy, where everything is different, just like her family. But despite the crowd of monstrous outcasts, she finds herself unable to connect with the people there due to her cold and detached personality. But seclusion never bothered the Addams, and she soon finds herself in the middle of the murder mystery, no thanks to her psychic powers. Along the way, she finds a friend in her roommate with an exact opposite personality, romance, and a surprise that brings her back to the Academy in the upcoming season.

The teaser trailer for Season 2 starts off with Wednesday returning to school after a bizarre flight where the only thing that raises questioning looks at her is the sunscreen in her bag. As an eerie version of Favourite Things plays in the background, the trailer continues to show the family dropping her off for yet another school year. Followed by the shocking scene she finds upon returning to her room, the scene shifts to another case opening up in town.

Another shift shows Wednesday tied up to a chair while creepy dolls surround the table, but is she one to fear? Her knife is soon out, and Enid receives a doll as a gift soon after. The dramatic music continues, and another family secret is soon to come out. We then see some new and old characters appear on screen while Morticia Addams thinks about the deadly consequences the secrets of their family hold, but Wednesday’s psychic powers are ready to take her into the eye of the tornado.

Finally, the trailer ends with Wednesday’s narrative assuring her mother not to worry, for her best work happens in the dark. The trailer teases bringing back the mystic charm this show holds for viewers and we are ready for the new adventures that Wednesday is ready to go on. While it points at more chaos than last season, we can only wait and watch what is soon to happen.
