MH370 The Plane That Disappeared Reactions: Netizens Express Disappointment Over the Inclusion of Conspiracy Theories

MH370 The Plane That Disappeared Reactions remain brutally honest as the platform users question the creator’s decision to include some ridiculous conspiracy theories instead of facts. They are also dissatisfied with the exclusion of the victim’s families’ interviews and losing an opportunity to give a voice to the voiceless.

Directed by Louise Malkinson, the series follows the incident involving the sudden disappearance of Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 in 2014. The docuseries is divided into three parts. The producer of the documentary is Harry Hewland, and Raw TV is the official production company. The total runtime of the three episodes is approximately 50-55 minutes each.

The creators aimed to uncover the truth behind the tragic incident that occurred 9 years ago. The Malaysian Airlines Flight 370, operated by Malaysian Airlines, disappeared in thin air on March 8, 2014, along with the 239 passengers in it. 227 passengers and 12 crew members are now all presumed dead. The flight was supposed to land at Beijing Capital International Airport from Kuala Lumpur International Airport in Malaysia.

After taking off, the crew was under the radar and in contact with the air traffic control (ATC). However, a few minutes later, the plane vanished from the ATC radar screens. The military radar was still able to track it for an additional hour, but it eventually lost contact after it departed the radar range. The incident became a global investigation.

However, Twitter users are extremely dissatisfied with how the documentary was handled. They are upset that conspiracy theorists received so much screen time instead of revealing the actual reports and facts that could lead the public closer to the truth. The platform users also condemn the creators for intentionally defaming the pilot based on speculations.

Most of all, they are upset with not including the families that have suffered throughout the years. They feel like it was a waste of a good opportunity to understand what was happening behind the scenes. Moreover, they also questioned the government who refused to walk the extra mile to help the victims.
