A new episode of this Hulu original dropped, and people are losing their minds in the Saint X Episode 7 Twitter reactions. This is a psychological thriller show based on the book of the same title by Alexis Schaitkin stars Alycia Debnam-Carey as Emily, West Duchovny as Alison, Jayden Elijah as Edwin, Josh Bonzie as Gogo, Kenlee Anaya Townsend as Young Claire, Michael Park as Bill Thomas and Betsy Brandt as Mia Thomas, alongside other cast members. The series is created by Leila Gerstein and directed by Darren Grant and Dee Rees. The cinematography is done by Tony Mirza and Richard Rutkowski.
In this episode of the series, we see Alison trying to get with Edwin by embracing her island self into Vacation Alison. Claire feels betrayed by her sister because she promised to stick around, but this has been such an enlightening experience for her that she just wants to be someone different from Edwin. Considering the way the night ended, she was clearly a different experience for Edwin. Obviously, Edwin just wants to have with Gogo, but he is stuck dealing with this girl as well.
It’s not like he likes this woman, but he needs to ward off any sign that he could be gay, so he overindulges in sex and womanising. All of his tendencies point out that he has been obsessed with Gogo all this time, not Sara. The only reason he probably asked Sara to stay away from Gogo is because of his attraction towards Gogo. However, now that everyone thinks that he is obsessed with Sara, it is better to keep that ruse up.
It is entirely possible that Edwin only did all this so that Gogo would trust him again. He thought he was outed, but it was actually just Gogo finding out about the whole Sara thing, and he is not happy. In the present, we see Emily trying her level best to self-destruct. She runs away from her therapy session. She ran away from her boyfriend, and now she almost ran into traffic. Gogo saw her do this, and the two of them had a meal together before heading to the club.
At the club, Emily throws caution to the wind and dances with whoever. After revealing her childhood coping mechanism in front of Gogo, it seems that there will be a confrontation now. People were incredibly excited to see that the truck scene had happened. Most people were just excited to see Alycia Debnam-Carey do her thing. Her talents have been gaining eyeballs, especially because she is carrying the whole show on her back.
Others have started to make their own theories regarding the murder. Even going as far as associating some of her closest friends with the murder and the event that took place on the island. At this point, everyone looks like a suspect, but people are convinced that Edwin definitely had something to do with this. More importantly, the show has been slow, and people have been begging just to let viewers know what will happen next. It seems entirely possible that the next episode will be a full-on info dump.
Even though we have seen more of Edwin’s backstory and his internalised homophobia, people are not ready to forgive him for all the things he has done in the episodes. There are no apologists, and most people just want to know how he was involved in causing problems for Alison and her family.
