Racionais MC’s From the Streets of Sao Paulo Twitter Review: Viewers Can’t Stop Praising the Netflix Documentary

Racionais MC’s documentary film, Racionais MC’s From The Streets Of Sao Paulo is the story of the hip-hop band Racionais MC’s and their voice against racism. The Brazilian Hip-Hop band gained wide attention from the beginning for their anti-racial stand and became an enemy of the administration. They began their journey as street artists and made their way onto the big stage at the cost of being constantly targeted by the local police force.

Their documentary highlights the issue of racism, violence and subjugation of Blacks around the world. Racionais MC’s music is a deep dive into the world of the Blacks and their everyday life, the problems they faced for being Blacks and how they can put an end to all of their issues.

It is noteworthy how these 4 youngsters from the hood talk about violence to end racism. They want to take up violence to keep their future generations safe from violence. When the 4 boys went to meet the Sao Palo Police, they talked about how they would want their people to stay away from alcohol, from “blow” and away from crime. The Racionais go on stage and talk about War, a war against the system and a war against the discrimination against Blacks.

It’s impressive how a movement which was started almost 4 decades ago is still ongoing. It is the reason that this Netflix Documentary is being praised by people worldwide. Viewers are praising the film for pointing out the shortcomings of the system and taking a stand for the Blacks. Some viewers call it a Manifesto for Black Survival in Brazil.
