Psy and Hwasa Impress Us With Their Dance in Now(이제는) Performance Video

Psy released his 9th Studio album, Psy The 9th, on 29th April 2022 along with the music video for the title track ‘That That’ featuring and produced by SUGA of BTS. The music video gained 30 Million views on the day of its release and has garnered over 74 Million views within 5 days of its release.

The artist’s latest album has twelve songs and six of them have an artist featuring on them. Along with SUGA, other artists like Crush, Tablo of Epik High, Hwasa, Sung Si-kyung and Jessi also feature in the album. On 3rd May, the Gangnam Style fame artist released his Celeb Music Video in which actress and singer Bae Suzy appears as his dancing partner.

Hwasa features in the song, Now(이제는) with the singer. It is a retro pop song which is the Korean remake of the original 1984 English song ‘When The Rain Begins To Fall’ by Jermaine Jackson and Pia Zadora. The Korean remake keeps the original beats and melodies and has just translated the lyrics from English to Korean.

The vertical performance video begins with the singer singing in old microphones and dancing in retro style with the background dancers. Hwasa joins him later in the blue jumpsuit and they dance with a group as they sing the duet. The performance is a fusion of both modern and retro dance styles and is filled with fun and entertainment as expected from any singer’s dance video. Hwasa doesn’t fail to impress us with her flawless dance movies.

The singer has also released music video teasers for his songs ‘Everyday’ and ‘Happier’ featuring Crush. However, the release dates for the music videos have not been revealed yet.
