Psy released the title track of his 9th Studio Album Psy The 9th, ‘That That’ featuring and produced by SUGA of BTS. Psy revealed it in pieces, from the name of the title track, then the producer, the feature and ultimately the final poster confirming the appearance of the BTS rapper and producer in the music video for ‘That That’.
Psy said in an interview that SUGA was only supposed to produce the song but ended up featuring in it and also appearing in the music video. Post the release of the music video, SUGA also posted on his Instagram story that he was only going to write the song and run away but he ended up dancing in the music video.
The music video for ‘That That’ was released on 29th April 2022 at 6 PM KST and gained 30 million views on its first day. Psy and SUGA appear in cowboy clothes, dancing to the upbeat music of the song. The music video is entertaining and we can also see a dual between both the artists.
On 4th May, BTS’s official Weverse Page released the Music Video Photo sketch for That That. The sketch includes the rehearsal photos as well as photos from the set. The BTS rapper spits fire in his raps but looks adorable in his white cowboy outfit on the set and in his bare face and long hair in the rehearsal room.
