Pseudo Harem Episode 4 Recap
The episode begins with Rin role-playing with her friend Megu to soothe her aching heart. Rin has Megu pretend to be her senpai, confessing her desire to date him. However, Rin lacks the courage to confess to the real person, leaving her lamenting her situation and the need to involve her friend in such antics.
In another segment, Rin falls asleep in front of Eiji, who gently talks to her and responds to her sleep-talking. The scene is hilarious as Rin says random things, leading to a situation involving an indirect kiss. Both handle it immaturely, entertaining us with their antics. Despite all this, Eiji remains clueless about Rin’s feelings for him.

Another funny moment is when Rin tries to wink but struggles, while Eiji does it effortlessly. Her repeated attempts, with one eye struggling to stay open and her mouth contorting, are both cute and amusing. Another entertaining segment features Rin pretending to be the school nurse after Eiji gets hurt. With her impressive acting skills, she adds another character to her playful harem for Eiji. During this role-play, she finally gets Eiji to call her by her first name rather than her surname.
We’re also getting more insight into the characters. Usually shy and demure, Rin is becoming quite mischievous, especially when pushing Eiji’s buttons. One great example is when they play games, and Rin, realizing she’s distracting Eiji, deliberately distracts him even more. She also starts to express more of her desires, albeit in her mind, like wanting to visit Eiji’s house again.
