Production For Netflix’s The Witcher Season 3 Officially Begins, Deets Inside

News about the production for Netflix’s much waited The Witcher Season 3 has been on the air for some time now but, nothing concrete had turned up previously. Netflix has now confirmed the series’ third part finally being in production along with pictures from the set which have fans screaming in excitement. The fantasy series has steadily become one of the most loved shows on the OTT platform and, with season 3 is filming now, one can only hope for the third season to arrive faster than ever.

Netflix’s The Witcher is a Polish-American fantasy drama series created by Lauren Schmidt Hissrich that is based on the book series of the same name by Andrzej Sapkowski. The first season of the series had aired back in 2019 with season two being released in 2021. The renewal for the third season came shortly after in September 2021.

The action-adventure series flaunts an ensemble cast that includes Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia along with Freya Allan as Ciri, Anya Chalotra as Yennefer of Vengerberg, Joey Batey as Jaskier and, several others. It follows the tale of the legend of Geralt of Rivia and Princess Ciri, who are unknowingly linked to one other by destiny. With the storyline catching up in season two of Geralt and Ciri finally meeting, the third season will be a grand revelation and will be following a more promising storyline it seems.

The picture announcing the production of The Witcher Season 3 features Henry Cavill, Freya Allan, and Anya Chalotra on the snowy set of the series. Following the picture, the official social media handle for the show also released a description for the third season and, what it will potentially cover.
