Planning to Watch Prehistoric Planet Season 2? Here’s All to Know About the Nature Documentary

Prehistoric Planet Season 2 is almost here and, all the nature documentary fans are reeling with excitement to see what next the show has to offer. The British-America docu-series is produced by the BBC Studios Natural History Unit with legendary Jon Favreau as showrunner. The first season of the documentary told us about prehistoric animals such as dinosaurs and, yes, it was extremely fun!

The visual effects for the series are by MPC. Natural historian Sir David Attenborough serves as the narrator for the show, which is what makes it all the more interesting and endearing. Moreover, Hans Zimmer, Kara Talve and Anže Rozman composed the soundtrack for the series.

It is BBC’s first major dinosaur-focused documentary with the last one being the 2011 release Planet Dinosaur. The first of this series was, of course, the 1999 release Walking with Dinosaurs, making this the third title based on the same theme and genre. Ahead of the release of the second season of Prehistoric Planet, let us have a look at some key details about the upcoming season.
