5 Worst Star Wars Movies and Series Of All Time

It is recommended to hold your lips tight than talk about the worst Star Wars movies and series that have been presented to us. But, are we going to do what is recommended or just be inspired by Anakin Skywalker’s character arc and do what we want in the name of love and war? Well, if you are guessing the latter then you are a hundred per cent right.

The epic space opera created by George Lucas has given us something to be obsessed with for the rest of our lives. At the same time, it has given us enough grief, be it the death of some iconic characters or films and shows that make our skin crawl. So today we look at the 5 worst Star Wars movies and shows that really should have upped their game given how legendary the franchise is.

5 Worst Star Wars Movies and Series of All Time

Star Wars: Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker

How can the final film in this huge space opera franchise be the worst one might ask? The short but, painful answer would be to direct the person towards the film. But to save everyone the pain, let us tell you how everything starting from a bad script to bad acting is what makes the film not only uninteresting but, hugely intolerable.

The beauty of the characters in the Star Wars universe is their passion and motivation to do things and get things done, which is completely missing from this film. Even the battle scenes are present without emotional electricity making you constantly look for how much of the film is left when you might not even be halfway through it.

The Book of Boba Fett

Now that we have witnessed Andor, we want to rightly shout at the makers’ face- WHAT WAS THIS EVEN? A series that, as the title clearly mentions, was focused on Boba Fett and aimed to explore him as a character, which did everything but that. From the first episode, we see how disengagingly the narrative is laid out. And the more we delve into the show, the more deattaching it gets to a point where we have really no clue about who Boba Fett is after the entire season has rolled out.

Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi

The franchise is usually good when it comes to the animated series but, this one just wasn’t it. The show has an interesting storyline that it wants to bask in- exploring the different Jedi characters from the prequel trilogy era. It did get its own share of praise from the table of critics but, fans were really not that impressed. From the runtime being too short to establish anything meaningful to the dialogues really not holding any gravitas, the show could have been better but, just failed miserably in so many ways.

Solo: A Star Wars Story

A movie that could have very well been a series or, was a series in essence with unreal expectations and shows- we are still debating on what was it that even made us watch this 2018 film, to begin with. The biggest problem is not only our indecisiveness but, the indecisiveness that rests at the core of the movie, making it inconsistent and incohesive. With a weak villain and a weaker ending, we want everyone to join our debate on why this film was made.

Star Wars: Episode I and Episode II- The Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones

Putting these two films from the prequel trilogy together because they just show how resilient and hopeful Star Wars fans are that after receiving one bad movie after the other they still were brave enough to take a chance with a third one- Revenge of the Sith. And, in our opinion, Revenge of the Sith really does a good job, especially when compared to these two.

The problem is not with the vision the film has but, the way it tries to bring it to life- there isn’t excitement in the battle sequences, the chemistry in our lead characters seems to be off and, well, you really do not have much to root for (apart from the hero to villain arc, of course).
