Our Blues Episode 18 Reactions: Fans React To The Biggest Reveal Of The Series- Dong-seok’s Past

Our Blues Episode 18 finally gave us answers to a question that was only briefly shown in many episodes but kept at the end to address. Dong-seok doesn’t regard his mother as one. His mother barely speaks to anyone, let alone her son. If Dong-seok ever talked with his mother, it was only to shout at her. The latest episode showed us the traumatic childhood of Dong-seok and fans blamed his mother for doing him wrong and still expecting him to be an obedient son.

Our Blues stars Lee Byung-hun, Shin Min-a, Cha Seung-won, Lee Jung-eun, Han Ji-min, Kim Woo-bin, and Uhm Jung-hwa, alongside other cast members.

A Twitter user wrote, “I’m so glad he finally said it. It’s been so frustrating seeing even those close to him judge him with the presumption that they know and understand it all, without ever questioning anything and him not really speaking up for himself either. #OurBluesEp18”

“I said it before but it really feels like Jeong Jun is the only real friend he has in Jeju. He’s the only one who actually gets Dong Seok to be comfortable enough around him to open up a little bit, probably because he shows actual empathy instead of judging him+ #ourbluesep18”, a Tweet said.

A fan mentioned in a Tweet, “DongSeok went through child abuse, negligence & bullying that causes him a life long trauma… It’s sad many people expect him to get over with it since he’s an adult now when the pain must still be as new as yesterday #OurBlues #OurBluesEp18”
