A story that could only be told in anime form, Oshi No Ko Episode 8 is the eighth episode of one of the season’s most highly anticipated new anime. Oshi No Ko is a supernatural drama anime being animated by Studio Doga Kobo and based on a manga written by Aka Akasaka and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari. The episode is also known as My Star Episode 8.

Gynaecologist Gorou Amemiya did not think his life would turn out to be this way when he agreed to help out his favourite teenage idol Ai Hoshino with her unexpected pregnancy. Akane Kurokawa is something special, isn’t she? Not only did she overcome the extreme levels of hatred that were being directed towards her (with a lot of help, of course), but she also managed to learn so much about Ai in that time to become her. There is something very clever about writing someone like her to be able to become someone like Ai because many would claim that they had opposing personalities. I don’t know what this is going to do to Aqua.

Oshi No Ko Episode 8 is the eighth episode that has been delayed a week and will now air on the 7th of June at 23:00 JST (11:00 PM JST), with a recap episode airing this week in its stead.

What do you even say about this? I have absolutely no idea what Akane looking like Ai and acting like her is going to do. It’s not going to be very good for Aqua’s thought process.
Oshi No Ko Episode 7 Recap
Aqua saves Akane’s life and takes her to the police station, where she is met by her mother and the rest of their classmates. Akane is showered with support for the first time in a while, and with everyone’s help, she starts getting better. Along with other members of the cast, Aqua tries to fix Akane’s image by releasing footage of the entire cast being friendly and of Akane being driven into suicide by all of this, which turns the tide in Akane’s favour. She repays the favour to Aqua by becoming the woman he truly loves- Ai.
