‘Operation Fortune’ trailer seems like the upcoming spy thriller is going to revive all the memories we have held close to our hearts since actor Jason Statham and Guy Ritchie impressively started collaborating with the crime comedy ‘Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels’ in 1998. The upcoming film, ‘Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre’ will see the actor-director duo reunite. Guy Ritchie is not just the director for the film but, has also written the screenplay alongside Ivan Atkinson and Marn Davies and is also producing the film with Ivan Atkinson and Bill Block.
The film flaunts a stellar and known cast that includes Jason Statham, Aubrey Plaza, Josh Hartnett, Cary Elwes, Bugzy Malone and Hugh Grant. The spy thriller also marks the teaming up of Hugh Grant and Josh Hartnett for the second time with director Ritchie after having appeared in the 2019 film ‘The Gentlemen’ and the 2021 film ‘Wrath of Man’, respectively.

The premise of the story revolves around Jason Statham’s Orson Fortune who is supposed to track down and stop the sale of a new deadly technology that can be weaponized by the billionaire Greg Simmonds (played by Hugh Grant). However, our super-spy needs some help which makes him reluctantly team up with Aubrey Plaza, Cary Elwes, Bugzy Malone- who are the world’s best operative. Fortune and his team also recruit Hollywood movie star Danny Francesco (played by Josh Hartnett) to play a part in their plan to stop evil and save the world.
