Extraction 2: Chris Hemsworth Shares An ‘Ice Cold’ First Look

During Netflix TUDUM it was made clear that Extraction 2 is happening and Sam Hargrave’s directorial universe is going to stretch to provide a sequel. The positive news wasn’t a shock as the 2020 film Extraction broke all Netflix records on its release. In fact, the film became the most-watched original film in Netflix’s history with a reported 99 million households in its first four weeks. The protagonist of the show was played by Chris Hemsworth as Tyler Rake who received praises for his commendable performance.

After the announcement of Extraction 2, both Hemsworth and Sam Hargrave sent out a message to the fans about how filming was going recording a video that said: “What’s up guys, the first day shooting on Extraction 2, director Sam Hargrave, we’re here in Prague. Two things are very different from the last film: 1. We’re very, very cold. 2. I’m alive. How? You’ll have to find out, watch the movie, stay tuned.” Six days later we have the first look of Extraction 2 served!

Extraction 2: Chris Hemsworth’s Ice Cold Snaps

Tyler Rake aka Hemsworth shared a picture carousel that consists of two pictures. The pictures are in fact ice cold as the actor-director duo is seen wearing heavy jackets and standing amidst blizzard-like snow.

The pictures not only give us the first look at Extraction’s sequel, but they also serve as an announcement post that the cast and crew are on their second week of filming. The premise and other essential details about the upcoming film have not been revealed yet. However, we can expect it to be geographically taking place in a different setting.
