Only Murders in the Building Season 3 Episode 4 Review
Only Murders in the Building Season 3 Episode 4 focuses on the first suspect the group has gotten and investigates their present lead. As we learned in the last episode, it is Kimber who has been shortlisted as the first suspect as she is the one with the missing handkerchief. Kimber’s side hustle of anti-aging serum comes into play and how Ben was promoting it unofficially- making Ben both a friend and an enemy to her. Plus, the serum is a good way to poison someone Mabel decodes.
But, the more the trio digs deeper in this case, the more worms seem to come out of the ground because, by the end of the episode, there is an unsuspecting suspect. During the course of the episode, Oliver and Charles find ‘FUCKING PIG’ written on Ben’s mirror with lipstick which gives them directions towards another suspect.
Additionally, the investigation on Kimber proves helpful as she is able to tell the trio about a last-minute detail on the day of Ben’s death: before going on the stage on the opening night, Ben had a red mark on his face and had called someone (we do not know who) to the dressing room to get rid of it.

Alongside the case at hand, Only Murders in the Building Season 3 Episode 4 does not miss out on the chance to introduce us to the changes in our characters’ lives. We have the trio finally functioning together, although there are moments of uneasiness. Cinda Canning is back and coaxing Mabel to team up for a podcast with her. Charles faces a ‘white room’ disruption in his life after his girlfriend, Joy moves in but, how this segment ends is absolutely mind blogging.
Only Murders in the Building Season 3 Episode 4: Final Thoughts
Overall, Only Murders in the Building Season 3 is going rather strong. Especially considering how this episode progressed, there is a shocking and beautiful flair with which the tables have turned and now we have a new suspect, who is a rather odd addition to the list. The trio’s chemistry is ever present taking the show forward and it is absolutely adorable.
Only Murders in the Building Season 3 Episode 4 also addressed some important issues related to stress and coping, when it comes to Charles’ character. There is the return of an old character which seems deliberate and will add more to the mystery and friendship aspect of the show.
